Also known as Summer Madness (Gaeta / Bassano), this expressive composition features an explosion of red, crimson, yellow, orange, black, and purple brushstrokes against a luminous pale background. The energetic marks spread outward from a dense central area, creating an impression of movement, intensity, and organic growth. Delicate handwritten marks and pencil-like lines add another layer of visual interest, reflecting Twombly's distinctive combination of painting, drawing, and writing.

Cy Twombly was an influential American artist celebrated for his distinctive approach to abstract expression, gestural painting, calligraphic marks, and expressive scribbles. His work often combines spontaneous-looking gestures with references to poetry, classical culture, and personal memory. In Summer Madness, the vivid colors and layered textures create a composition that feels energetic and spontaneous. The flower-like arrangement of marks evokes the richness of summer without depicting a conventional landscape, allowing the artwork to remain open to individual interpretation.

This Cy Twombly abstract art poster captures the expressive energy of modern painting through its contrasting colors, layered pigments, and free-flowing brushwork.
